Review

Regents Review sessions are student centered & student driven.  Students should bring all review materials with them, along with all questions they have generated during their study and review of the material.  Bring Regents Review books, and print outs from the list below.

    2:00 p.m. in Rm. 147  on:  

  • May 18th (Monday)

  • May 28th (Thursday)

  • June 4th (Thursday)

  • June 8th (Monday)

How do I know if I am eligible to take the Regents Exam?
  • Ask Mrs. McArdle (mcardleh@mahopac.k12.ny.us).  
  • Students are repeatedly reminded of their status in class.  
  • Parents and Administrators are kept appraised of concerns via email, snail
    mail and phone calls. 
     

WARNING    .....    

The cutoff for having lab reports assessed and found to be acceptable is June 1st of this school year.  

 

Don't fool yourself into thinking 'there's still time'.

 

What and When are the two parts of the Regents Exam this year?    
  • Lab Practical on June 1st (Monday) .... (Part D).   
  • Written portion on June 17th (Parts A, B, and C).
Where do I take the Regents Exam?
  • Mahopac High School Gym, unless told otherwise.
What should I bring?           
  • 2 sharpened pencils
  • 2 pens
  • a simple, 4-function calculator (Graphing calculators ARE NOT PERMITTED for use during the Regents Exam)
  • a clear plastic bottle of water with you into the exam. 

 

  • Leave all cell phones and bags of any kind AT HOME.  These will not be permitted into the testing rooms.
What if I'm ill or absent?     

Please call the High School.  The next available exam is in  August, and you will need to retake the Part D Lab Practical.

 

How long will I be able to take to finish the exam?           

Students have a total of 3 hours to finish the exam.  Most students finish in less than 2 hours.  Students may not leave the exam during the first two hours, even if finished.

 

When will I find out my grade?

You will receive your report card with all grades during the summer. 

DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL FOR YOUR GRADE.
